CAMPECHE RESTAURANT
TImeLIne
Campeche Restaurant has been serving Authentic Mexican Food since the late 1970’s. What does “Campeche” mean? Well, Campeche is actually a city in Mexico located on the Gulf of Mexico, where grandma was born. Grandma was the original CEO and Founder of Campeche Restaurant! She wanted to name the company after her hometown since the majority of her recipes are from there.
Our family recipes have been passed down for 3 generations including her Famous Homemade Margaritas and Pico de Gallo. The company first started in 1978 in the Chicagoland area and has been family owned ever since. With 5 locations in the North Side of Chicago and the latest one here in Galena, IL.
